Datawise Project

IISA 2025

DATAWiSE was presented at the 5th International Workshop on AI & Data Analytics in the Energy Sector, held in Mytilene on the island of Lesbos (Greece), as part of the 16th International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications (IISA 2025).

Elena Boskov Kovacs from Blueprint Energy Solutions took part in the workshop discussions, sharing insights into the overall concept of DATAWiSE, its objectives and ongoing work on data-driven approaches for improving building performance and energy management.

The workshop brought together researchers and project representatives working on advanced digital solutions for the energy sector, with a strong focus on real-world applications of artificial intelligence in grid operation and planning.

Alongside DATAWiSE presentation, participants shared insights from several Horizon Europe initiatives exploring topics such as predictive maintenance, real-time flexibility management, digital twins and federated data architectures for energy systems.

The programme also included sessions on smart digitalisation of the energy sector, smart grid-ready and energy-efficient buildings, renewable energy systems and energy communities, as well as digital solutions supporting energy and urban planning.

The workshop provided an important platform for knowledge exchange between researchers, project teams and industry stakeholders working on the digital transformation of the energy sector.

DATAWiSE team expressed its appreciation to the organisers of the workshop and the IISA 2025 conference for bringing together experts and initiatives addressing the future of intelligent and data-driven energy systems.
