Datawise Project

CIGIP R&D&I Workshop

The 1st Workshop on the Results of R&D&I Projects and Knowledge Transfer, organised by CIGIP-UPV, provided an opportunity to introduce DATAWiSE project and its vision for improving the way buildings and building portfolios are managed through advanced digital solutions. The event focused on presenting the outcomes of research and innovation projects and exploring their contribution to applied research and technological development.

During the workshop, Beatriz Andrés Navarro from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) introduced DATAWiSE and its core objectives. The presentation highlighted how the project combines data from multiple sources and applies artificial intelligence techniques to support more informed decision-making in building management and energy performance.

DATAWiSE integrates data from multiple sources and applies artificial intelligence techniques to provide a comprehensive understanding of how buildings operate. By combining advanced analytics with interoperable digital systems, the project aims to support better decision-making in building management and energy performance.

Among the capabilities explored within the project are electric and thermal flexibility management, AI-driven energy forecasting and optimisation, predictive maintenance strategies, circular life-cycle assessment and integrated sustainability performance monitoring. The project also addresses aspects such as occupant comfort, adaptive risk assessment and the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI), contributing to more resilient and intelligent building systems.

The workshop provided an opportunity to exchange insights on research results and innovation activities developed at CIGIP-UPV, reinforcing the link between scientific research, technological innovation and real-world impact.
